🔦 Symposium Speaker Spotlight: Avery Wright – President, ASU Sports Business Scholars & 2024 Paris Olympics Intern, USOPC Avery is originally from Chicago, Illinois, majoring in Sports Business with a certificate in International Business. Avery is a heavily involved senior on campus as a McCord Scholar, Tillman Scholar, Gammage Scholar, NFL Alumni Association Legend Scholars Mentor, and a member of the Business School Council. In high school, Avery wrote a bill as a Senator at the American Legion Auxiliary’s Girls Nation in Washington, D.C., in partnership with U.S. Senator Ben Sasse. After this experience in the intersection of sports and politics, Avery served as a Public Policy Analyst for the Office of University of Affairs at ASU, where she specialized in NIL and women’s sports sponsorship research.
