Dramatic video captured a woman nearly being swept away by powerful king tides in Oregon last week. ⁣ ⁣ The video was recorded by an older man standing on a sand bar about 15 feet up and told KGW that he couldn't get down to help the woman. "The water started coming up towards her. She noticed it, she turned around and just as she was trying to get away, those waves grabbed her," he said, "It was very disturbing, because I felt so... helpless. I couldn't do anything for her." The woman was reportedly not injured and was helped by people on shore afterward.
