What I’ve learned about basketball in Korea ⬇️ Day 33 of 100 days creative People want to play basketball but there’s not enough players to play with. I met this one kid who couldn’t play high school ball, not because he didn’t make the team but because there weren’t enough players to make a team. Because there is a lack of organized basketball, students don’t have the opportunity to properly learn the fundamentals. I consider myself about a slightly above average basketball player among those who have ever played organized basketball, yet those that I play basketball with in Korea ask me if I play for a university team. One thing I wanted to do while in Korea was coach some players that wanted to play and I got the opportunity to do so on just my first day with my broken Korean. #basketball #korea #nba #kbl
