Warmest congratulations to the Newman Class of 2022 for completing their first game and being initiated as members of the University of California Marching Band! 95 new band members completed two marching training camps, played in several straw hat band performances, memorized close to a dozen songs, learned two entirely new marching shows, and completed their first classes of the year over the past three weeks. It was a lot of work but they took the challenge in stride! Their California Spirit has certainly shone through and we couldn’t be more proud to welcome this next generation of band members into our ranks! 💙💛 Swipe for some wonderful Silent Walk coverage from @malkalen and @andrewakim.photography ~~~
