Here are some things that I keep on me at all times when traveling! My phone, (for obvious reasons but specifically for accessibility apps such Live Transcribe on Android, innocaptionapp for phone calls and Big or Notes for written communication), an extra CI coil, and a backup CI charger are a must-have! I always have a water bottle with me and I like to have a sticker on it that identifies me as someone that is DHH. This sticker says "The best part of being deaf, is being able to turn you off." I now keep my Sunflower Lanyard in my bag as well. Of course, I keep this all in our accessory pouch. Did you also know that any bag or pouch that contains devices or accessories for those with disabilities is not considered extra baggage while traveling on airlines?
