In the rush of everyday life, it’s easy to forget the importance of quality time with loved ones. For Tim B. and his family, building a Factory Five car became the perfect opportunity to bond and create lasting memories. Tim’s son, Tim Jr., shared their story: “My father was a big fan of Factory Five. His first build was an AC Cobra, but his dream was always the Daytona Coupe. When Factory Five released the Gen 3 Coupe with IRS, he knew he had to have it.” In July 2021, Tim and his son received their Factory Five Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe. Over the next three years, they worked together whenever they could. “Whenever we had free time, we’d be out in the garage, building together,” Tim Jr. said. “It was such great quality time.” Tragically, Tim Sr. passed away in May 2024, leaving the car nearly finished.
