Some more pics of “Big Tony” My 207 7/8s I just harvested. The craziest thing about this buck, is it was on a permission piece that was 10 acres. A friend of mine told me his buddy had seen a giant deer this year near his house. With that lead, it was worth it to me to follow up, So I asked if he would introduce me to his buddy, and he did! After talking to the land owner and hanging out with him for a few hours, he surprisingly let me hunt! No money, no lease, just good ol fashion permission. He had ground across the street, but I figured, my best chance at Big Toney was on the 10 acre piece. So with no food plots, no habitat improvement I was forced to use good old fashion woodsmanship to figure out this buck in pinches, funnels, and scrapes. So scouted and set up trail cameras, put in a ton of mock scrapes. Within 2 days I got this beast on camera! tho it was in the middle of the night, I knew I had a chance. So I hunted smart until October 30th then I hunted hard, every single day...
