The National Weather Service in Portland released a satellite video of the rapidly strengthening weather system off the coast this morning. A nearby buoy reported a pressure drop of one millibar every ten minutes. Oregonians and Washingtonians can expect strong winds at the coast, gusty and breezy winds inland and moderate to heavy rain. There will also be moderate to heavy rain and snow in the mountains.
