What a way to wrap up our summer programming with a spotlight from thelowellsun! In our pilot year, our students and staff had a blast doing the Harvard Med Science program. A little bit of background: "The MEDscience course, which gives participants first-hand experiences in simulated medical emergencies, is designed to help students navigate their futures in medicine and deepen their classroom knowledge through hands-on learning." Students split their hands-on learning time between Project LEARN's Youth Innovation Space and harvardmed​ in Cambridge. We look forward to expanding next year's program and watching the growth of our future scientists, medical professionals, and educators.
