In 2023 when Jesuit and Oregon City squared off in the OSAA 6A State Volleyball Championship final game the Crusaders avoided a disastrous sweep by clawing back from being 0-2 on games to take a dramatic 3-2 victory for championship win. This year Jesuit reclaimed their championship with a 3-1 win over the Pioneers in spectacular, but a bit less dramatic, fashion at Forest Grove High School.
