About 3 weeks healed. It’s always crazy to me how fresh tattoos can deceive your eyes. When I first made this tattoo I felt like the colors I used were too warm for the skin tone. After seeing this tattoo 3 weeks healed I’m so happy with the settled in result. I wished healed tattoos were more of a thing when it comes to showing your work! For so many years I thought I used too much contrast in my tattoos and over darkened them- while that is true for some of my pieces, I would say that it’s always necessary to go a touch darker to give the client a good lasting result.
