Rainwater guardians reporting for duty! 🌧️💧 Isla_Urbana's Escuellas de Lluvia project is transforming schools in Mexico by using rainwater capture to supply clean, sustainable water. But it’s not just about water access—it’s about empowering students, teachers, and families to be part of the solution. Through hands-on learning within their curriculums, the student “rainwater guardians” are responsible for maintaining the system and spreading awareness about water as a vital resource. "As a society, we’ve done rainwater capture for thousands of years,” says director Ana Paula Mejorada. “It’s simple to maintain, scale, and replicate—creating real change that lasts.” The ripple effects extend beyond the schoolyard and into entire communities.
