For those of you who don’t know, I am Nigerian-American. My parents were both born and raised in rural Nigeria. In Nigerian culture, there is a saying, a phrase that comes before you and will echo after your last breath: “Naija No Dey Carry Last.” Simply put: Nigerians won’t give up, whatever we do, we won’t come in last place. 🇳🇬 This phrase embodies my life, my identity and my, “why.” #naijanodeycarrylast
