In 2022, Matt Turner and Ricardo Pepi left MLS for European adventure. Turner has since played for Arsenal, Nottingham Forest, and now Crystal Palace while Pepi has played for Augsburg, Groningen, and PSV. They still follow MLS though. During a recent press conference, they spoke about MLS playoffs— which will resume tomorrow. “I still watch, still captivated. My parents are still very heavily interested in MLS as well,” Turner said. “Not sure about this three-game playoff series [format], I can’t lie, but otherwise, I think things are pretty exciting, and it’s been fun to see some upsets and things like that.” Pepi also chimed in on the conversation. “I just think it’s crazy with what happened with Miami.
