My graphic design journey with @gtmensbasketball came full circle this past week when I got the chance to collaborate with @erikmaday on our team's official "Selection Sunday" graphics. Yesterday, right as it was announced that the Jackets are a #9 seed in the NCAA Tournament, Erik and I's work was shared across all of the team's social media accounts. This is not unusual for the two of us, having each worked/currently working for the team, but these were special. I got the chance to reconnect and collaborate with my mentor on the most significant designs I've created for the team yet: for March Madness. It is amazing to reflect and realize that a random Instagram direct message (in hopes of finding a mentor for a high school project) snowballed into creating March Madness graphics for the ACC Champions.
