NOTEWORTHY NIGHT: The piano program held its final recital for the fall semester last Thursday. Piano students of all levels, majors included, have been working up to this performance since the first week of school. Each student performed a solo piece. Sophomore Vi Hart performed the piece “Harmony of the Angels” by composer Johann Burgmuller. Hart had put in a lot of work towards this recital. “I got a lot of feedback from my family and my friends, so I was honestly pretty excited,” Hart said. Hart started playing piano in first grade, continuing through fifth grade. After taking a break due to COVID, Hart picked the instrument back up this year, participating in the Piano 1/music theory class. Throughout the year piano, students have been performing their pieces during in class recitals, slowly working up towards the fully memorized and completed piece.
