Once, I suggested to my subscribers that they try a Korean sweet potato once in awhile, particularly if they happened to be in a Korean grocery store, and someone got DEEPLY offended that I was being so unpatriotic to the American sweet potato. These are the things that stick with you in life. Mostly, I just prefer these over the typical candied yam or sweet potato casseroles that are a dime a dozen this time of year.
