It was an honor for our region to host the NWSL Championship at the first purpose-built women’s professional sports stadium! Just 11 years since the first NWSL game was played in Overland Park, it’s amazing to see how much the game has grown 🙌 It was great to bring together so many leaders within the soccer community, including FIFA, NWSL, U.S. Soccer, other Host City and KC2026 representatives to celebrate the NWSL Championship and the sport as a whole!  What an unforgettable weekend for our soccer community 💙 #WeAreKansasCity #WeAre26 #NWSLChampionship
