When you’re just a chill guy out here living your best life. As part of their daily routine, prairie dogs often take breaks to bask in the sun or rest in the shade. Same. They are generally more active during daylight hours, foraging for food and watching for predators, but will usually return to their burrows in the late afternoon. In the evening, they’re content to chill at their burrow entrance and shoot the breeze with neighbors before settling in for the night.
