April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and we stand together as Alpha Delta Pi sisters in partnership with Sigma Phi Epsilon to provide education, resources, and conversation around sexual assault and relational violence awareness and prevention. Made possible by support from the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation, this year marks our 9th year of the Live Your Oath Campaign. We are kicking off this campaign with understanding consent. Legal definitions of consent can vary by location and circumstance. Consent is an agreement between participants to engage in sexual activity. It is an ongoing process of discussing boundaries and what you’re comfortable with. Our call to action for this campaign is to take steps to educate one another on sexual assault prevention, learn strategies to support victims/survivors, and continue to create safe and protective environments for all our members.
