Jacques Agbobly’s knitwear line Agbobly is a reflection of their life—raised in Africa, but made in New York. The bright colors in their clothes weave in memories of their grandmother’s seamstress workspace in Togo, and their education at Parsons, recognition as a CFDA scholar and stint as a finalist for the 2023 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund make this city their playground.
