Story time: so a couple days ago, I was up at Venice like usual hooping and after a couple hours a homeless man came up to my friend group at the courts asking if they could have shoes. I gave him my basketball shoes I had played in instantly, and I just walked to my car barefoot. I felt bad that they were so sweaty since I had played in them for hours prior but all I could think of was the pain he must have felt this past couple of weeks since it’s been getting hotter and hotter and having to walk around Venice on the asphalt. I’m so blessed and we all are as well. I hope I can continue to be put in situations where I can help others out. I just want to inspire and help anyone around me. Such a simple deed brought a smile to this man’s day and that’s what this life is all about. It’s the little things, I’ve been blessed so much this past year, so I felt I needed to give back myself. I don’t know where this man will be today or tomorrow or years from now but I hope these shoes last him...
