The key to have predictable results with the single central incisor crown lies in providing the lab with the tools they need: high-quality photos, accurate shade matching, and clear, detailed instructions. Our lab charges about $85 for a single crown—definitely not a high-end lab—but the results can still shine with the right guidance. High-quality photos, whether taken with a DSLR or an iPhone with a proper flash setup, are essential. They allow the lab to capture the subtle details necessary for natural-looking restorations. Including a black-and-white prep shade photo is also invaluable, as it helps the lab capture the correct value, the most critical factor in shade matching.
