The UNI Volleyball team secured a 3-peat MVC tournament championship in the McLeod Center tonight against the UIC Flames. After dropping the third set to the Flames and falling 23-15 in the fourth set, the Panthers roared back with 12-2 run and ended the fourth set 27-25 to win the championship. UNI's own Kacie Rewerts was named tournament MVP, Kira Fallert and Olivia Tjernagel were also named to the all-tournament team. Following an undefeated MVC run, the Panthers will return to the NCAA Volleyball Tournament, which will begin in a week and a half. 📸 by Isabelle Bradley
