A Columbia County grand jury on Tuesday returned a six-count indictment accusing the principal of St. Helens High School of failing to report alleged sexual abuse involving two teachers and failing to care for students under her supervision.
The rare indictment against a high school principal charges Katy Wagner with two counts of first-degree criminal mistreatment, both felonies, and two counts each of first-degree official misconduct and second-degree official misconduct, misdemeanors.
