At 1Password, putting people first is in our DNA. Our employees are passionate about giving back to their communities so we created the 1Password Giving Fund to help them make more of an impact. #1PasswordForGood This week, the fund awarded a $500 grant to 30 initiatives across the US, UK, and Canada, including support for animal rescues, healthcare organizations, nonprofits that provide food and shelter, and more. Grey McGree, a Sr. CX Technical Representative at 1Password, volunteers at RepairCafeWales fixing appliances like toys and lamps, and helps to educate the community about repairing their broken belongings so they don’t end up in a landfill. Each month, the Repair Cafe serves about 75 visitors and fixes 20-30 items, helping to reduce the impact on the environment and create positive community connections.
