Moffitt, iconic for always being packed from the early hours of the morning leading up to midterms and finals, is also home to the Free Speech Movement Cafe and several classrooms. With quiet and loud floors, and food allowed anywhere, it’s an easy spot to study late — if you can find a seat. Sophomore April Mendez said she is “devastated” about the closure, often sleeping at Moffitt during dead week at a secluded desk, only leaving to shower and get food. The library has its own icons as well.
