#MorehouseXC The Maroon Tiger Cross-Country Team took home their third consecutive SIAC title in Macon at the Georgia Premier Cross-Country Course. Since 1990, the Maroon Tigers have had 26 conference championships, including streaks of 13 years (1995 - 2007), 6 years (2009 - 2014), 3 years (2016 - 2018), and the current streak of 3 straight years (2022 - current). Brian Kemei was named the SIAC Men's Cross-Country Runner of the Year, and Phoenix Satterfield received the SIAC Men's Cross Country Elite 16 award for his championship performance, coupled with a 3.86 GPA. The Elite 16 award, the SIAC's highest academic achievement honor, is awarded to student-athletes who display exemplary performances in athletics and the classroom.
