�No mercy baby!!!!! Aleck and I swept our competition 5-0 to take home the 🥇 and 💰 in the 5.0 mixed Austin moneyball pickleball tourney this weekend!!! The answer is always no…..unless you ask. Aleck agreed to partner with me a few days before the event even though the day before the event was the only opportunity to practice. After a few tweaks, we recognized our instant court chemistry which set us up for an undefeated night at Eastside Paddle Club! Powered by Alecks explosive serve, his footwork, timing, and control of his lethal groundstrokes was unmatched by our opponents. Net play was a smooth operation. When he was in a rhythm, it was point over. I embraced the higher level pressure from 5.0 play. I needed to be the wing woman who can hit shots without being in a rhythm and look for opportunities to play more aggressively at the kitchen.
