And just like that, I’m a washed up collegiate athlete. My life has been consumed by soccer for almost twenty years. It has been so much of who I am for so long, and I’m not sure how to feel without it. Auws you are my home forever and I’m so grateful to each and every one of you that has passed through or is still here. I have learned so much from this game and what it means. I have made the best memories and pushed through some of the hardest days with these girls. I am so thankful for every minute and I absolutely wouldn’t trade any of it for the world. Time to sign up for a Sunday rec league with the other old ladies. Also if you see me crying like the last slide for the next few months mind your business🥲
