LONG LIVE PHYSICAL MEDIA 🙌 I’ve gradually been building a collection of steelbook blu-rays (and the occasional bootleg VHS lol). Streaming isn’t going anywhere, but it’ll never be the same as holding a physical copy of a beloved movie + displaying the cases on a shelf. If anything… I’m glad physical editions of movies will be more prominently produced as collectible items (and good riddance to a lot of the excess discount bin DVD’s & blu-rays). Awesome seeing recent releases of official studio-backed VHS tapes of movies like Alien: Romulus too!
