Deputies patrolling Santa Clarita on the 24800 block of Walnut Street observed a vehicle traveling at 84 mph in a 45 mph zone. A traffic stop was conducted, and deputies detained the driver. Upon contact, deputies detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from the driver. After conducting a DUI investigation, the driver was arrested for driving under the influence and speeding. He was transported to the Santa Clarita Station Jail and later released on a citation to appear in court. 🚔 Remember: Driving under the influence endangers lives.
