#TrafficTuesday Motor ✨ Edition 🔹Our TOPD Traffic Bureau has 8 motor deputies. 🔹Initial training consists of a 3 week in-house course, followed by 2 weeks in Sacramento at the California Highway Patrol Motor School. 🔹Riding a motorcycle is very much a perishable skill, therefore our motors across the Sheriff’s Office regularly train together monthly! 🔹Training consists of slow and high speed movement, along with the skills needed to safely maneuver through heavy traffic. ✨ With the holiday rush upon us, let’s not forget to give ourselves extra time, slow down, and set the phones 📱 down, so we can all arrive safely to our destinations ✨
