Just the right amount of sweet, nutty, toasted and salty all in one - so come bake w me ☺️ Gomashio, or gomasio, is a Japanese condiment, similar to furikake, but it is typically only made up of sesame seeds and salt. Sometimes there’s sugar in the mix, and that’s where the inspo for this recipe came from. Tahini and brown butter make up the perfectly soft dough, and a sugar+salt gomashio coats the outside. Kind of like a snickerdoodle (my fav holiday cookie)…but that much better 😎 Believe me, for its simplicity this cookie still has a lot going on.
