This might seem like an odd video to post, and I fully understand if people were to scroll on by...however, I know some of you will see this and be just as excited as I was when I filmed it earlier today. Today is Tuesday, December 3rd. Sully has not consciously moved his back legs or tail since the very early morning of Friday, November 29th. They've twitched and moved in dreams, but he has had no real control over them - until this afternoon! When I got home from work, he was hanging out in his makeshift rest area. As soon as he saw me, that big old tail started thumping on the floor 🥲 later, my siblings came over (separately) and his tail wagged and thumped in excitement to see his auntie and uncle 😍 After, as I used the little electric clippers to clear out all the extra fur on the bottoms of his hind feet and in between his pads, he suddenly jerked his foot away!
