The days may be sunny in the Pacific Northwest this week, but boy, are they short.
According to Time and Date, on Monday, Portlanders will get 8 hours and 56 minutes of daylight, with the sun rising at 7:32 a.m. and setting and 4:28 p.m.
Sunrise and sunset will continue to inch closer and closer together until the winter solstice on Saturday, Dec. 21, when Portland will get a paltry 8 hours and 42 minutes of daylight.
