Chocolate crinkle cookies (also called snowcap cookies) are one of my all-time favorite holiday cookies. My version has a rich, fudgy texture that reminds me of brownies, only softer and slightly less dense. And covered in powdered sugar, of course! These cookies aren’t difficult to make, but they do take some patience. The dough needs to chill for several hours before it can be baked (sorry, I know!). This is crucial for the proper spread and makes the dough easier to roll, too!
