Deputies patrolling Santa Clarita responded to a mail theft in progress on the 24400 block of Flaxwood Lane in Newhall. Deputies detained and arrested two suspects, both prior felons. They were found with over 100 pieces of mail from 40 different addresses, along with burglary tools used to open secured mailboxes and several magazines of ammunition. The suspects were booked into the Santa Clarita Station Jail and remain in custody at this time. 📬 Reminder: Protect your mail by retrieving it promptly and using a locked mailbox when possible.
