One of my favorite leg exercises. You may ask why not just do one leg at a time. You could. But I find this better because using two legs allows you to lift heavier weight making that eccentric phase with that single leg that much effective. Eccentric movements (lengthens muscle while under tension) are critical for building strength and muscle, as they place a significant load on the muscle fibers. The athlete in me loves this exercise because it improves injury prevention and your muscle mind connection.
