Friday saw another staple of Christmastime at Canisius as the outstanding CHS Parents Association concluded its annual Holiday Poinsettia & Wreath Sale. Students helped unload the greenery and the CHSPA sorted and distributed the wreaths and poinsettias in the Basil Lobby of the Bernard J. Kennedy '49 Field House. Proceeds from the sale go towards CHS Campus Ministry service and spirituality programs. We are grateful for the CHSPA, which annually sponsors and coordinates a variety of events "in support of the school and our sons." The wreaths and poinsettias are part of a wonderfully decorated Higgins Hall foyer, which also includes our 20-foot tall Christmas tree, and will be seen by hundreds on Sunday for our annual Grandparents Day, which includes a Mass in Scaccia Auditorium followed by brunch in Kennedy Field House. On Wednesday. Dec. 11, our Fine Arts Department will perform its annual presentation of “A Festival of Lessons and Carols” at 7 p.m. All are welcome at St. Louis C...
