Christmas at CHS arrived this week, as students and faculty did the tree-trimming after our outstanding maintenance team raised the 20-foot tree high to the ceiling of our Higgins Hall foyer. Hundreds of visitors will enjoy the tree on Sunday during one of our favorite annual events, the Grandparents Mass and Brunch. On Wednesday, our Fine Arts Department will perform its annual presentation of “A Festival of Lessons and Carols” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11. All are welcome at St. Louis Church, 35 Edward St., Buffalo (at intersection of Edward and Main). On the evening of Tuesday, Dec. 17, there will be another outstanding BPO at CHS performance as the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra returns to Scaccia Auditorium for “Christmas Classics with the BPO.” The show is already sold out.
