Following Saturday’s snowy state championship game, our CHS Football Class of 2025 made one last “senior walk” from one end of Koessler Field to the other, where they met up with the Crusader underclassmen. These seniors won the Monsignor Martin Athletic Association title – after the Crusaders had come up short the previous three years – by beating rival St. Joe’s for the 11th straight time. On Saturday, in a battle of two of the very best programs in the state, Iona Prep prevailed in the NYSCHSAA championship, 42-26.
