Native Memphian, Emily Harris has touched every facet of campus (and beyond), getting involved with the Emerging Leaders Program, Weeks of Welcome, Greek Life, campus internships and more throughout her time here. Double majoring in Creative Mass Media and Visual Arts and double minoring in Italian Studies and Advertising and inspired by two opportunities to study abroad through the UofM, she has accepted an internship in Italy starting in January. Emily advises, “College is all what you make of it. Don’t be afraid to be yourself, step out of your comfort zone, and go after your dreams.
