Former Oklahoma City Thunder first-round pick Russell Westbrook is giving back in a big way, investing an estimated $10 million into the city he called home for 11 seasons.⁠ ⁠ Partnering with investment firm Echo, Westbrook plans to transform 40 acres into a hub for @energyfc, complete with a soccer stadium, dining, retail, and community spaces.⁠ ⁠ Construction kicks off in 2025, with the stadium set to open by 2027.
