Each day has enough trouble of its own”. -Matthew 6:34 In exactly eight days I will be graduating from the Prairie View A&M university with a bachelors degree in Mass Communications and a minor in African American studies. The journey hasn’t been easy, but it has been well worth it. From long days in the radio station, to long nights writing papers, and packing vinyl crates around for my record business. Receiving this degree next week will be just one testament to the four years of hard work at my beloved HBCU. I made it this far by trusting God and taking it one day at a time. Choosing to attend Prairie View A&M has been one of the best decisions of my life so far. So for my brothers and sisters wondering should I attend an HBCU?
