With Joey Daccord unavailable today due to an illness, our SeattleKraken have signed G Michael Matyas, who played 14 games for Alaska-Anchorage most recently in 2014-15, to an amateur tryout contract. Matyas lives in NYC and works in finance, serving as the Kraken's "Emergency Backup Goaltender" today. In what appears to be a corresponding move, forward Ryan Winterton was reassigned to AHL affiliate Coachella Valley, as he isn't listed on the Seattle roster on the NHL media site.
