When photographer dannyhastings was scheduled to shoot the cover of wutangclan’s debut album, ‘Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers),’ only six members showed up to set. RZA, GZA, ODB, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck and Ghostface Killah made it but there were still three members missing. RZA initially said, “I’m not shooting unless all my brothers are here” and Danny responded, “Why don’t we do what you did in Atlanta? Let’s go and get the stocking masks. You’re the Wu-Tang Clan. You are a unit. You don’t need to show your faces.” And the rest is history.
