People are always telling me how I can “save time” by having someone else edit my videos, hiring someone to write my newsletters, finding a videographer to film all my content. And I’ve thought about it, even tried a couple of these things. But, in the end, I always come back to doing them things myself. First of all, I like creating my videos. I like standing back knowing, “I made that!” And I also don’t think anyone, not even a very smart robot, could replicate my writing. In fact, I can categorically say I will NEVER EVER hire anyone to write ANYTHING. Of all the things I do, my writing is the biggest window into my soul. To hire someone to do that would be a complete erasure of me. I’m not saying that one day, I won’t be forced to delegate some of the other things I do, but for now, I enjoy learning the craft. Knowing that I CAN create something beautiful, all on my own. I don’t think shortcuts can facilitate that kind of confidence, or, if it does—well, that’s not the kind of “co...
