Kent put 7 of their own on the board after Kargman connected with Floriea. Glass followed with the extra point, making it 14-7 Panthers at the end of the first quarter. It was a bit of deja vu in the second quarter, with the Panthers scoring two more touchdowns to make it 28-7. The Flashes took advantage of a fumbled punt return and Muhammad ran 34 yards to the end zone, putting Kent down only two scores going into the half. The Flashes struck first in the second half after McCray ran it in on a 29 yard pass from Kargman. Glass kicked his 100th career extra point to bring the Flashes within one score.
