Congratulations to our Athlete of the Week! Sophomore Caroline Kittrell has performed extremely well for the Raider Swim Team in the first meets of the season. Swimming in a variety of individual events, Caroline has garnered six first-place finishes so far this season. She has also qualified for the GHSA Swimming & Diving State Championships in four individual events: the 200 and 500-yard freestyles, the 200 Individual Medley, and the 100 Butterfly. She is also very close to qualifying in three other events: the 50 and 100 Free and the 100 Backstroke. In addition, Caroline is part of the foursome to meet a state qualifying time in the 400 Freestyle Relay. In his nomination, Coach Fisher stated, “Caroline will be an instrumental part of Riverwood’s remaining meets, and a scorer in the State meet in February.
